MANGOS :: SYNOPSIS ::

 Hundreds of years ago Pangaea was a world with a thriving economy, the centre of the revolution spiralling around the city of Pendant. New instruments and mechanical devices were continuously produced to improve every little  inconvenience. Soon the Ancients had discovered how to create and store DNA inside a single disk. The first "monsters" were treated as pets and servants. Having created new life, the ancients almost considered themselves as Gods; invincible.
But with little warning, the earth was plunged into darkness after a series of terrific disasters. The devastating chain-reaction lead to a horrifyingly sudden collapse in social structure, and a rise of chaos. The Great War stretched for long years until the initial quarrel was all but forgotten. Pendant was the first city to transform monsters into soldiers.
 Pendant resolved to bring an end to the war and set about creating the ultimate weapon - Muu. Each side battled ferociously to gain control of the beast, for whoever gained control of Muu would win the War. But Muu inevitably gained control over his own mind and soon discovered how to ignite the fear and hatred in other monsters, turning them into "Baddies".
Pangaea quickly reunited under a common goal to rid the world of Muu and Pendant laboratories was once again called upon to achieve the impossible. The legendary Phoenix was erected to battle Muu, while the  Final Gate was prepared: a device which would separate Muu’s soul from his body. Nevertheless, although the serpent’s soul was vanquished, the cost of life was incomprehensible as every monster across the planet reverted back into mystery disks.
Hundreds of years later, Muu's soul attached itseld to a human. Gathering troops of baddies from around the world, Muu began to enslave people and monsters alike, once again throwing the world into disarray.
And this is where we come in ^.~
10 year old Genki is exactly as his name would suggest: ENERGETIC. Being the "Monster Champ" of the gaming world, Genki adores the imaginary world of the monsters. But when his wish is granted Genki finds  himself swept up in a quest for the legendary Phoenix monster with Holly and her wise-cracking guardian, Suezo. Along the way they meet Mocchi, an odd creature resembling a Japanese sweet cake, Golem, the gentle giant with a deep-rooted fear of water, Tiger of the Wind, the bandit with a grudge, and Hare, a cunning 'Jack rabbit of all trades'.
 Together the unlikely bunch become an unstoppable force as they continue their quest for the Phoenix, fighting Muu and his baddies every step of the way.
