Name: PIXIE
In my opinion the most complex and tragic character in the series, Pixie develops greatly over the course of the show. When first introduced, she was a typical Anime villainess, complete with shrieking laugh. But soon we got to see the real Pixie, a deeply hurt, tortured soul, frightened of Moo, angry at the humans that had enslaved her, and clinging desperately to what little remained of her humanity.
Pixie's one true friend is Big Blue, and he is always at her side. The two of them are obviously very close, and Big Blue is very protective of her. Pixie is easily the stronger of the two, though, being able to cast Lightning or Flame attacks that can drive back Moo himself, and shatter glass that none of the Searchers were able to break. Yet, at the same time, she is delicate and easily hurt, both physically AND emotionally.
Pixie is a definate favorite in the fanfiction, probably for much the same reason that Pixies are so popular in the game. She is very pretty, after all. But it is her combination of power and vulnerability, her pride and spirit, and her loneliness and pain, that makes her truly appealing. Pixie keeps her true feelings buried, just under the surface, but we can see what she is feeling, and we can see her conflict.
The TV show did not delve deep into Pixie's background, but the fanfiction has. It is clear that Pixie has been terribly abused, first by the human slavers, and then by Moo. She has had to live with a great deal of suffering, and continues to suffer, even up to the events of "Tears".
In the fanfiction, Pixie has become romantically involved with Genki, probably as much as he has been with Holly. At times, they almost seem like a love triangle, they are both drawn to Genki, and he seems to care about both of them. But it is Big Blue who is usually portrayed as Pixie's partner/lover, in the way that the TV show both can and cannot.
