Tiger's Scar: Tiger recieved his trademark battlewound from Muu when the baddies attacked he and Graywolf's pack. Tiger was badly wounded in the fight and his brother, Graywolf, was taken to become a servant of Muu, eventually rising in ranks to become one of the Big Bad Four.
Hare's Kerchief: Like Tiger, Hare was part of a notorious group of bandits who stole from the Baddies. His two partners in crime (Fairy Hare and Wild Hare) both wore a Kerchief: one blue, the other yellow.
What's in the bag: Ever wondered about the contents of Hare's bag? Well it's not very exciting: one calculator, one toothbrush, one brush and a couple've golds. Oh, and the love of his life's yellow kerchief.
Genki's full name: Genki's full name is never revealed, however the MR2000X he recieves in Episode One is addressed to an M. Genki
The debate on Holly's age: Holly is 14 in Season #1, 15 in Season #2 (Episode 37: Holly's Happy Birthday) and 16 in Season #3
Genki's Return Home: When Genki's returns home he realises only 3 hours have past since he'd been away in the Monster world. When he returns a year later in Season 3 he discovers that a year has also passed in the Monster world... needless to say, that doesn't make much sense. My best guess is that the Phoenix transported him back in time so that no one would notice his absense.
The "Holy" Seven Searchers?: From Godchecker :: Your Guide to the Gods : Immensely popular in all cultures. Seven is the holy number, symbolising God in all his, her or its forms. Ask anyone to think of a number between one and ten and the chances are they'll say seven. There are many magnificent sevens. The Japanese have SEVEN GODS OF GOOD FORTUNE and in Egypt HATHOR can be seven cows at once. Wizards like to be the seventh son of a seventh son, Snow White has her seven dwarves, there are seven days of creation and you can book into a seventh heaven.
Monster entrée?: Mocchi (mochi) is the Japanese name for 'sweetcake', a sticky rice cake. Genki's least favourite food is carrots (but he'll eat them as long as it keeps Holly happy). Tigers, it seems, can't hold their liqour as demonstrated in Episode 6, "Hare's Trick". I could drink that hound under the table any night!
Seasons: The third season of Monster Rancher was dubbed in English and aired in Japan, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. However it did not air in the USA (sorry guys). The series gained a fair bit of popularity elsewhere, having been dubbed in French, German and Portuguese.
Episodes: There are 74 episodes in total, however episode 49, "Of War and Hate" of Season 2 became "Jill's Icy Secret" after two episodes were merged, taking "Durahan Dies at Dawn" out of the eqution altogether. Don't you just hate dubbers?

1. "Yippie kay-ay chi!" In Episode 5, "Tiger of the Wind", while travelling through a gorge Genki comments that he is just like a cowboy, to which Suezo replies "like in a Western movie?". Just one question - in a world without tv, how does Suezo know what a cowboy flick is? O_o
